ARIZONA CHIROPRACTIC SOCIETY
MISSION STATEMENT: ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF ARIZONA CHIROPRACTORS
The Arizona Chiropractic Society (ACS) is a non-profit state association for Arizona chiropractors founded in 1991. ACS works to strengthen and protect chiropractic, safeguard chiropractors' practice rights, provide effective representation at the Arizona Legislature, make needed changes in the areas of health insurance and personal injury litigation, provide information regarding claims denials, IME and low speed impact biomechanical engineering reports, and advise doctors who have had Board complaints. ACS is the only state association in the country that provides personal counseling by a veteran licensed chiropractor when members face insurance claim denials. Read what other Arizona chiropractors have to say about ACS here.
ACHIEVEMENTS FOR ARIZONA CHIROPRACTORS
Since 1991 ACS and its President and Executive Director Alan M. Immerman, D.C., have achieved many important advances for the chiropractic profession including enactment of four insurance equality laws and laws for HMO's, fostering an atmosphere of "live and let live" in the chiropractic community, reigning in the Chiropractic Board by requiring definitions for "unprofessional conduct," passing a new and vastly improved health care lien law, working with the State of Arizona Department of Insurance to enforce existing laws that protect the practice of chiropractic, and more. ACS continues it tradition today by advancing copay/deductible legislation and continuing efforts to reform the Board. Read what legislators have said about ACS here.
JOIN WITH HUNDREDS OF YOUR FELLOW ARIZONA CHIROPRACTORS AND BECOME A MEMBER
There are many benefits to membership. First and foremost is that you, the Arizona chiropractor, are protecting and preserving your own profession. Chiropractors' practice rights are constantly under assault at the state legislature, in the media and the courts and the profession needs a strong advocate on its side. ACS is that advocate. If that is not enough, click here Member Benefits and review the list of the ACS "Special Treasures" which are available only to members. This ever expanding list of tools and documents, now including an online Find-a-Doc search engine for members to get new patients, is invaluable in making a chiropractic practice function smoothly and successfully in Arizona. To top it off, ACS provides personalized consulting with its members to resolve a wide myriad of problems including claims denials. Membership more than pays for itself in many ways! Read the many accolades sent to ACS by its supporters.

ACS is strong and growing rapidly for only one reason -- it meets the needs of its members. Read their own words here.
EMAIL RECEIVED APRIL 4, 2008:
Alan,
If it wasn't for your hard work for the chiropractors of Arizona - ACS, AAC, or independent - we may not even have the ability to make a living and help our patients achieve better health through chiropractic care. Thanks for doing what you do best, and fighting the good fight. In the immortal words of Winston Churchill, "...we will never surrender!"
Dr. Randy Leraaen
